Houlihan Lokey has announced that Magnus Scaddan has joined its London office as a Managing Director and Head of Consumer & Retail, EMEA.
Scaddan reports jointly to Jay Novak, Managing Director and Head of the Consumer, Food & Retail Group and Stephen Winningham, Managing Director and Co-Head of Corporate Finance, Europe.
Scaddan has almost 20 years investment banking experience, and was most recently at Nomura (formerly Lehman Brothers), where he was a managing director and co-head of consumer and retail investment banking, EMEA. In this role he focused primarily on the food, beverage, household and personal care sectors. He will focus on the same industry verticals at Houlihan Lokey.

Prior to joining Nomura? /Lehman Brothers, Scaddan was a managing director and head of consumer investment banking, EMEA at HSBC in London. Before this, he was a director in the consumer/retail banking investment banking group at Credit Suisse in London. He started his career at Wasserstein Perella in New York.
Scaddan holds a B.Sc. in geography from the University of Exeter.
