It's no secret we're eagerly anticipating the revitalized Indian motorcycle brand: from its $18,999 starting price to its grunty 111 cubic inch, air-cooled v-twin, parent company Polaris's Spirit Lake, Iowa-based venture appears to be putting Harley-Davidson square in its crosshairs for a homegrown battle royale.
?
The latest marketing morsel from Polaris is a high production value bit depicting the Jeb Scolman-built Spirit of Munro tribute bike getting transported to, and subsequently blasting across, Coyote Dry Lake Bed in California.
?
Cinephiles may deem the music a bit heavyhanded and the pace somewhat self-indulgent, but the streamliner's high-speed blast across the bumpy lake bed is the stuff of two-wheeled fantasy, squashing any aesthetic quibbles with a good old fashioned, gasoline-powered payoff.
